Samburu has a wealth of wildlife in a relatively small area \u2013 elephants are legion and there are plenty of lions, leopards and cheetahs picking on the grazing antelope, zebra and other species drawn here for water and grazing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">ITINERARY:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai\u00a0<\/strong><b>Mara<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At 8 o&#8217;clock you will be picked up from your Nairobi Hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara. You will pass via the great rift valley view point where you will have a stop over of 10 -15 minutes to view the rift valley. Lunch will be at the camp in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a sunset evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve (4.00 to 6.00 p.m). Return back to the camp for buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at Rhino Tourist Camp or similar. (The tents have toilet, shower, bed, linen and mosquito nets. Electricity is provided from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the evening. Also from 6:00 am to 8:00 am in the morning).<br \/>\nMasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve\u2019s western escarpment. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the seventh wonder of the world. At midday, You will have picnic lunch in the park which is provided by us. You will arrive early at the Hotel where you can take some time to relax at the pool, wifi or a stroll in the compound.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner and Overnight at <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Buraha Zeroni Hotel \/ Similar<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4: Nakuru to Lake Naivasha\/Hell\u2019s Gate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos . The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 1-hour drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, you will go to hell&#8217;s gate for biking safari. if you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car.<\/p>\n<p>You will later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner and Overnight at <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Astorian Grand Hotel<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5: Naivasha to Samburu National Reserve<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast at the lodge and at 7 am, depart to Samburu National Reserve located in the Northern Kenya. Have lunch on the way to arrive Samburu in time for an evening game viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Samburu is famous for its truly wild semi-arid landscape, and the large concentration of wild animals and bird-life. Together with the adjoining Shaba and Buffalo Springs national reserves,\u00a0 Samburu is popular for hosting the rare Northern-Kenya animal species (Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy&#8217;s zebra, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich) which are not found in the other popular parks and reserves in Kenya. It is also home to all the African big cats (lion, cheetah and leopard), alongside other big game including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impala, water-buck and many others. Samburu is also a renowned bird watching haven, with hundreds of bird species resident here. Later, return to the camp for breakfast. Rest of the mid-morning at relaxation.
