Begin with a pickup from JKIA<\/strong> and transfer to Wilson Airport<\/strong> for a scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara<\/strong>. On arrival, transfer to your lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive in one of Africa\u2019s most wildlife-rich reserves.<\/p>\n

Spend a full day exploring the Mara on morning and afternoon game drives, renowned for exceptional big cat sightings<\/strong>, large herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffes<\/strong>, and the famous Great Migration<\/strong> (seasonal).<\/p>\n

On the final day, after breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Wilson Airport<\/strong>, followed by drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA.<\/p>\n

Sand River Masai Mara is quite literally on the Migration route and guests are often fortunate to be able to watch wildebeest and zebra crossing the Sand River from the comfort of their tent verandah.<\/p>\n

Day 01- Wilson- Maasai Mara<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our driver guide will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta and will transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Maasai Mara. On arrival, you will be met by our Maasai guide for transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax Afternoon game drive at the famous Maasai Mara.
\nGame viewing in the Maasai Mara is excellent all year round thanks to its varied landscapes, wide open spaces, temperate climate and diverse population of resident game. Its champagne-coloured savannahs are home to safari heavyweights like lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo, plus popular species like zebra, giraffe, hyena, eland and gazelle. Rhino sightings are scarce, but these endangered animals can be spotted \u2013 if you\u2019re in luck \u2013 in the Mara Triangle.
\nThe Mara is renowned for delivering exceptional big cat (lion, leopard and cheetah) sightings. Cheetahs are particularly well adapted to the region\u2019s flat plains, which makes the Maasai Mara one of the best places to see these nimble predators. They often seek vantage points on fallen trees, termite mounds, and even game drive vehicles! It\u2019s a highlight of any Maasai Mara safari to watch the world\u2019s fastest land mammal chase down its prey.

Day 02- Maasai Mara Full Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Further on your stay you will enjoy 2 game drives in this reserve. Above all, the Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion density in the whole world and its where two million Wildebeest, Zebra and Thompsons gazelles migrate annually. Certainly during our days here we may view prides of lions, hippos in the river, cheetahs racing across the plains and many varieties of antelope.
\nRolling plains around the camp are teeming with wildebeest, gazelles and zebras during the migration months, and the camp is situated right in the center of their migration path. Certainly, a wildlife safari puts you right in the middle of all this action. Get a first-hand account of this epic phenomenon and live to tell the tale. In addition, safari also helps you acquaint yourself with the landscapes of this beautiful African setting. By virtue of its location and layout, the camp offers an unparalleled plethora of activities coupled with experiences from luxury tented living.
