Dont leave your tent after dark unless you want to encounter some baboons roaming the area, There is no wifi available and electricity is only switched on during the early morning hours and in the evening so you need to plan ahead for charging your devices, don't expect luxury, but you won't lack anything. I was accommodated for my vegetarian diet and all in all it was a wonderful trip. Also we will visit the famous Mara river where the great migration happens, have a guided tour by the rangers to see the Nile crocodiles and hippo families and just to top it off have a picnic lunch under a tree in the park overlooking the vast landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. It\u2019s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingoes.<\/p>\n<p>The game drive lasts 3 -4 hours, after which you will enjoy game viewing on your way out.<\/p>\n<p>The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity including Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, and the Black and White Rhinoceros which are the major attractions of the area.<\/p>\n<p>You will have lunch at a traveler\u2019s motel in Naivasha.<\/p>\n<p>After Lunch head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride.<\/p>\n<p>While on the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, see the pelicans and hippo viewing. Experience a Guided\u00a0Tour\u00a0as you watch different Animals Species like Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, Antelopes among others as you bike.<\/p>\n<p>Have a guided walk in the gorge where you will visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through.<\/p>\n<p>Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate. If you can not bike -you have the option of\u00a0 exploring the Park by foot or by using the car.<\/p>\n<p>Hell\u2019s Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Hell\u2019s Gate is a unique attraction because of its bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy biking, rock climbing and a natural spa famed for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Drive to Naivasha Kifaru restaurant or Mai Mahiu hotel for Lunch.
