ITINERARY:<\/span><\/p>\n

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pick up from the Airport upon arrival and transfer to Ibis style hotel for the overnight based on bed and breakfast<\/p>\n

Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pick up from the your hotel and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed with the game viewing in the reserve.<\/p>\n

Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve\u2019s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya\u2019s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest\u2019s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeests migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the wonder of the world.<\/p>\n

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spend full-day game viewing and exploring the park in search of the Big 5 of Africa \u2013 lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and African buffalo.<\/p>\n

Enjoy a picnic lunch with the hippos and crocodiles at the Hippo Pool<\/p>\n

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD10.<\/p>\n

Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people.<\/p>\n

A balloon safari at a discounted USD 490 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event\u00a0 of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna \u2013 lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.<\/p>\n

Day 4: Depart Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter commence drive to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game viewing in the park.<\/p>\n

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Aberdares National Park<\/strong><\/p>\n

Breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed for a morning game viewing. Later, check out and drive to Aberdare National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. After lunch, you are transferred to the park by the lodge vehicle.<\/p>\n

The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colombus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hogs, bongos, and many types of big cats. You can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers, and camping in the moorlands. You can also enjoy bird viewing with over 250 species of birds in the park.<\/p>\n

Day 6: Aberdare to Nairobi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Early morning viewing of animals from the lodge deck. Have breakfast and at 9 am, check out and drive back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel or airport.<\/p>\n
