For the Tanzania part, you will spend the night in tents which are large enough to even accommodate two. We will provide sleeping bags.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">ITINERARY:<\/span><\/h2>\n<div><strong>Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">At 8 o\u2019clock you will be picked up from your hotel within Nairobi city centre \/Westland\u2019s and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Then embark your journey, you will arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Check in and have lunch. In the evening at 4:00pm depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve which will be 2 hours. Ends at 6:00pm. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.<\/p>\n<p>It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Occupying some 3,200 square miles (8,300 square km), it extends over part of the Eastern (Great) Rift Valley of eastern Africa and contains a variety of habitats and landscapes, including grassland plains, savanna woodlands, forests, mountains, volcanic craters, lakes, rivers, and swampland. Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world\u2019s largest unbroken calderas, is the most prominent feature of the park.
