✅ Why use Diaspora Errands services instead of my family or friends?
While relying on family or friends is common, it often presents challenges. Relatives may lack the technical expertise needed for construction oversight, face potential conflicts of interest, have limited availability due to their own commitments, or find it difficult to make objective decisions because of personal relationships. Sadly, experiences of mismanagement or misappropriation of funds, even by trusted individuals, are frequently reported
Diaspora Errands provides professional, impartial, and accountable oversight. Our primary loyalty is to you, the client, ensuring decisions are made based on your project’s best interests and requirements, supported by our expertise in local regulations and construction standards. We offer a structured, documented approach with regular, verifiable reporting that informal arrangements typically lack.
✅ Who are your typical customers?
Our clients are primarily Kenyans living and working in the diaspora (e.g., North America, Europe, Middle East, other parts of Africa) who need reliable, trustworthy representation on the ground in Kenya. This includes:
- Individuals and Families: Building personal homes, managing property investments, or undertaking significant personal projects.
- Investment Groups & SACCOs: Diaspora groups pooling resources for larger projects like land acquisition or development ventures.
- Businesses & Entrepreneurs: Diaspora members establishing or overseeing business operations, agricultural ventures, or commercial property developments in Kenya.
- Companies Abroad: International companies requiring local assistance for specific tasks, due diligence, or project monitoring within Kenya.
Essentially, we serve any individual or entity based abroad who requires independent oversight, verification, risk management, or logistical support for their projects or tasks within Kenya, helping bridge the trust and distance gap.

Our fees are determined based on the specific services you select and the scope and complexity of your project. We believe in transparency, so there are no hidden costs.
Please note that while our service fees will be clearly stated, certain processes involve external costs payable to government agencies (e.g., fees for official land searches, NEMA/NCA applications, county permits, NCA levies for projects exceeding Ksh 5 million).
